The WB172 90 degree D-Dring is a fixed style which stands perpendicular off of the belt about 1". Once mounted on a 2" belt this D-ring does not slide easily. It stays put. This is great for easily attaching carabiners, stringers and especially popular for holding lipping devices like the Boga Grip and the Fish Lipper.

The WB160 is a traditional yet heavy gauge extra heavy duty D-ring which is mounted on to a super strong 2" belt loop. This D-ring is free to move and easy to slide on any 2" belt. This D-ring can be used for a variety of purposes. It is most popular as a rod holder which assists when changing lures or dealing with a fish. The rough inside diamensions of the D-ring are 2-1/8" wide by 1-3/8" tall. If your rod butt is larger than 1-3/8" in diameter it will not fit.
